Dr. Jianjun Wang obtained his Ph.D degree at University of Mainz (Germany) in 2006. In 2007 May, he became a project leader at Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research after seven months of postdoctoral research at the same Institute. Since 2010 April, he has been a professor at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academic of Sciences (ICCAS). And he has been a professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) since 2015. Dr. Wang’s current research interest focuses on the molecular level understanding and controlling ice formation, which are essential for broad applications such as anti-icing coatings, cryopreservation of cells and tissues as well as templates for porous materials. Dr. Wang is currently an Advisory Board Member of Advanced Materials Interfaces.
